dazk, It HZD a post apocalypse world? The large giraffe robot is cool looking. How was the combat?

dazk , It HZD a post apocalypse world? The large giraffe robot is cool looking. How was the combat? Hey there, yeah post apocalyptic but not sure yet story wise what happened only hints. It is I think set in 2450, seems like humans made machines and pure speculation on my part but maybe to replace extinct animals so the Tall Neck you mentioned is like a Giraffe but it also controls (I think) the animals in its zone. The machines have started becoming aggressive towards the surviving humans and it's getting worse and some have become corrupted, part of the game is exploring why. Combat is fun, I am playing on easy and using stealth and the bow most but there are a variety of interesting weapons for fighting with like a thing called a trip caster where you set up wires to freeze/electrocute/set on fire machines and they get stuck and easier to kill. You cam also sneak up on them and "override" them so they fight the other machines. I have really just concentrated on the sharp shooter bow and melee cause I am lazy.  Hard to see but this is two machines fighting because I overrode one  This is one of the toughest machines to take down it's called a Thunder Jaw and fires exploding missiles off it's back and lasers off its jaw. Shooting the weakpoints is the key in combat or hitting them but some explode so that can be dangerous.  You get to explore some ruins and at some of them there will be a "Vantage Point" that when you scan it you can see what it used to look like. Playing Guild Wars 2 again. Recently got the super fun jackel mount. Love jumping through the portals, never quite sure where it ends. Desolation and interesting with the sulfur, ghosts and Awakened. Liking the Path of Fire Story so far but a bit concerned the end boss will need more people. Still haven't beaten the end boss in Living Season 2, the four fires need to lit at once and that'll take some time to get.
Forgot to add: I'm addicted to the casino mini games. Jumping around on a giant bunny to collect sparkly coins is fun.

Jumping around on a giant bunny to collect sparkly coins is fun. I love the raptor mount...I think it's the skidding it can do when it stops and I like to hit the attack as I dismount in combat. The casino bunny runs are fun...so much so that I have extra coin....last I played they hadn't change out the prizes you can buy. PoF boss fight was tough as I recall. |
