Playing Guild Wars 2 again. Recently got the super fun jackel mount. Love jumping through the portals, never quite sure where it ends. Desolation and interesting with the sulfur, ghosts and Awakened. Liking the Path of Fire Story so far but a bit concerned the end boss will need more people. Still haven't beaten the end boss in Living Season 2, the four fires need to lit at once and that'll take some time to get.
Forgot to add: I'm addicted to the casino mini games. Jumping around on a giant bunny to collect sparkly coins is fun.
I love the raptor mount...I think it's the skidding it can do when it stops and I like to hit the attack as I dismount in combat. The casino bunny runs are fun...so much so that I have extra coin....last I played they hadn't change out the prizes you can buy.
PoF boss fight was tough as I recall.
Yes, that's fun to especially using in the middle of the a boss even fight. Haven't turned in any casino coins yet, right now consuming for training. I've run out of mastery points. Came across the ghost in desolation who gives 3 quests to find pristine awkward emblem, harpie feather and devour fang. Got the devour fang, need the other 2.
So just more map clearing but I hope I am not causing a problem for myself. The Control tower things in the game I have clearing them as I proceed but have not started the main quest Shamans Path yet. Is someone (@obsidiangryphon @hrungr @azarhal) able to please tell me I won't have to do them again????
Cleared some more corrupted animals I cam across, found figurines, Blue Gleam and Pigments and a Bandit Camp which was fun..... sort of. I cleared the whole camp till the boss man who I didn't expect to be an actual boss as they weren't really in the main game. So anyway that was fun (DazK) runs around in a panic!!!!!
I blew his companions 4 I think by shooting Blaze containers as they walked past and then figured I'd hit the boss with flame arrows but alas they didn't seem to work and I was then not hidden. His attacks were pretty damn powerful, like lose 3/4 of your health powerful. So ran around healing and shooting him with my ice rail or whatever it is called but it took ages to kill him. So i figure there is a better way, I had actually hoped to stealth kill him but as said before blew my hiding spot.

I usually don't play eso pvp anymore, I just sign in every now and then for the single player stuff but they've moved the first skill in the assault pvp line down to the second. Unfortunately for me, I use that skill a lot on all of my characters so now I'm forced to pvp a little if I want it. While in Cyrodiil sneaking around on my AD elf I spotted a lone DC enemy, however they turned out to be a pretty low level and I refuse to kill low level players if I can help it. As I was watching for other enemies I saw my chance to sneak up behind them pull out my lute and start serenading, at first I thought they were going to attack but instead they pulled out the drums and decided to join. We were playing music to each other for a good minute before we each gave a bow and ran off.
Stupid story but since I usually get hate whispers in pvp and nothing ever really good happens there it made me happy, it also made me want to PVP again....of course that was right before my game froze and I got booted off the server. I really wish I snapped a pic but I wasn't thinking of it in the moment.
So yesterday set about clearing more of the map but came to a part where I had to do The Shaman's Path, I quite enjoyed it but I hate platform mechanics in RPG's. I absolutely suck at them and died more times on that stupid log bridge that goes up and down than I have in all of HZD and all of my 800hrs in AC Odyssey.
Anyway got through that to then have to do puzzles, another thing I suck at, figured out the first one easily enough through sheer luck but the second one took me 30+ minutes. Good thing we were ordering Take Away/Take Out and I didn't have to cook or people would have had a late dinner!!!!!
Anyway that was my game play for the day. Will go back to doing a side quest I have to find the rail for the forge fire and to find the last few figurines and pigments before pushing the main quest even though I have done enough of the required activities to.
So yesterday did the mission to help the three Banuk that were running away and for Beregund to kill some animals and they chose there new Werak name of
Then did the kill the Claws Beneath for Umnak which was a challenge till I just used the big ice mound in the middle to run around and around taking shots at it from behind. Then one for Varga to upgrade the Ice rail by killing a Thunderjaw, after having recently fought the Daemonic version this was a walk in the park.
Then on to challenging Aterak and completing the trials. I normally find the timed stuff a bit stressful but I actually had fun and well under the times. The beasts at the end were a bit of a challenge but the tunnels made it easier being able to pretty much run through and get some hits on one and then running through and getting hit on another etc.
Next to the Stone Drum.
Pic's
Aratak reminds me of Mr. T and I keep expecting him to say "I pity the Fool"
I had already finished Might & Magic VIII, so not much point replaying it while I never even did 1/3 of Might & Magic VI. But I had to bring my saves from my laptop and redownload the 700 MB game.
Damn I'm overpowered in this area. Should GTHO to east
Look at the size of this map. It's yuge... and I was supposed to find all the teachers by myself. I think I only entered 11 regions out of 15.
Started AC Valhalla only about 5hrs in and enjoying it so far. Few gripes with some game mechanics but enjoyable game play so far,
How's the story and combat?
Story is good so far but haven't progressed it too much. Combat feels a bit bland compared to Odyssey but it's still early days.
I am liking it but it hasn't yet had the WOW factor Odyssey had on me.
I am enjoying playing as female Eivor but I let the Animus choose which means the game will make you play as male and female depending on which is more relevant as Eivor is a descendant of Odin and the game switches to male Eivor when it is a memory of Odin. Least I think that's how it works.
Actually a very good spell. I thought it's a waste of mana
Killed those water elementals but next rooms were too difficult so I returned. Then killed dozens of those swordsmen. The trick is to be patient and don't trigger them all.
Cleaned that castle with the swordsmen and saw this ghost.
the next nights, more misadventure
but then cleaned 2 places and half of a region.
Finished 2 quests and got 2 levels in the process.
I've been playing BG2 as a halfling fighter-rogue. In this run, I discovered just how powerful traps can be.
My part of 11-12s was utterly failing to put a dent into Firkraag, when I and Jan Jansen set a bunch of snares around him, then started the fight with a Cloudkill.
That dragon was dead before I knew what was happening!
