I've got to get around to doing a dwarven commoner run. It's the only one I haven't tried.

Been playing Borderlands3. One of the best things about the game is the cute little pet on the ship. Your character can pet the little critter and hearts will appear as well as loot. He's adorable. And that reminds of the cute Guild Wars snow leopard cub!:

Trying out XCom: Chimera Squad. Interesting concept: Five years after XCom 2, a city is trying to integrate humans, aliens, and Advent hybrids together (It seems with the Ethereals gone, the aliens have regained their free will)But, of course, something is trying to sabotage this grand experiment. You run various investigations (in whichever order you want, but once you start one, you gotta see it through) and face various criminal factions. I think I may have made a mistake in going after Grey Phoenix first, as they seem to be primarily mutons and vipers One difference is you have a set team, each with unique abilities. And if anyone dies, it's a critical mission failure. Another is the emphasis on "breaches". You start battles by busting in through doors, windows, walls (if you have the proper breaching charges) and try to take the enemy by surprise. As such instead of neighborhood-wide gun battles, you are busting into rooms, having short, vicious gun battles which can sometimes turn into waves of enemies.

I want to romance alistair but keep him a warden, romance anders (friendly romance) amd a cullen romance too I want to a cynical dwarf noble who romances Morrigan, a insane lesbian of a rogue Hawke who friendly romances Isabela (and dies cus shes nutso) and a warrior Lavellan who romances Blackwall, the most boring man in DA history.

I installed Tactics a while back but lost interest before I really started. Unfortunately older top-down games just haven't aged well with my tastes unless they're in the strategy genre. Maybe if I forced myself to play a while I might change, but I gotta force myself, lol.

I think you can create a public or private PvP lobby using GameRanger as a virtual LAN. That might be fun. gameranger.com/games/

I have got to try Fallout Tactics sometime. With QuakeCon going on you can catch the old Fallout games on sale at GOG and Steam.

I've done the tutorials and it seemed fine to me doing those. The GOG version comes with the hi-res mod. Not sure about Steam, but it's easy enough to download and use if not. My native monitor res is 1920x1080, but the NPC's and objects are pretty small with the game set at that res. So I set the game to 1280x720 and let it scale out to full screen. It's not quite as sharp that way but everything isn't so small and it still looks good for a 2001 game.

Playing HZD on PC, 9 hrs down and enjoying it so far. From this to this An NPC It looks good Dazk! How are you liking the game so far? Worth recommending a buy? At this stage yes I'd recommend it. I waited for people to start playing to get some feedback and some have had technical issues like crashes but people are solving them pretty quickly and Guerillas are aware of it and promised to fix them ASAP but I have had none. The key seems to be limiting your FPS and nut playing the game on Ultra and that sort of stuff. So far story has been limited but Aloy is very lilieable and what has been revealed story wise already is has been good. I am actually really enjoying the combat even if I am a bit ordinary at it, "Run Away" has been a common tactic. The environment and character renderings are good, almost too good. Unless there is some dramatic change which no one has mentioned yet I think I'll really enjoy the game.

Had a funny experience in HZD yesterday, you find devices with information about the past and I found this one, which was funny because my daughters best friends name is Harriet Choi and we call her HAZMAT: A Tallneck More scenery

Still enjoying HZD, keep meaning to push the story along but just having too much fun clearing the map and hunting machines and exploring. Accidentally wandered into a grazing area for a Thunderjaw which is the hardest machine I have fought yet, took it down but it would have been nice to find the high powered disc/grenade thrower before the fight rather than after it!!!!
