If you've got any suggestions for fun co-op games then list them here if you're inclined. :-)

If you've got any suggestions for fun co-op games then list them here if you're inclined. :-) Not much of a Co-Op person but have to admit after playing The Division 1 solo, post campaign I did enjoy playing missions on harder difficulties with a group of people I met online and via playing Co-op with those players. That said The Division 2 I started but couldn't get into it, keep meaning to go back to it as I think it was my mindset at the time but have been having to much fun romping around Ancient Greece. That's the only game other than some missions in AC Unity that were Co-Op that I have played.

I'm amazed at all the responses in this thread. So many people seem enthused about co-op.

I am, but I'm broke ATM. Will be getting Alien Swarm once my benefits kick in. Typically, I'm into shooters but I do like the competitive aspect with some games more. I really wish the Mass Effect 3 servers were as active as they were even 4 years ago. There's so much tech I could teach you all lol. Such as how to kill rachni with Asari dodges and what to do to OHK a Phantom as a Quarian.

Yeah I kind of hoped when MEA dropped it would be like The Division in that you could do the whole map and missions solo but at the start of a mission there was a point where you could opt to do it Co-Op if you wanted and change the difficulty.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's actually better than solo play. I'm fairly new to co-op. I played Borderlands 2 solo and couldn't finish it, had to put it down. I decided to give co-op a try with it, and that breathed new life into it.

It was just different for me, sometimes better because I ended up playing with a good bunch of guys but occasionally you'd get people that were just annoying or a pain in the ass. Iactually liked the challenge of doing the missions solo, then doing them solo on a harder setting.

There's too many folks acting like fools as well as cheating in multiplayer.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood looks like it has some fun multiplayer. It used GameSpy but those servers have been shutdown. However you can use virtual LAN software like GameRanger to get around that issue.
I know one friend who has the game and another who is considering buying it, plus I have it myself. It's on sale at GOG for 4 more days and Steam for another 16 hours. If we can get about 3 or 4 more players to join in, that may be all we need to have a good time.

Maybe we can try Battlefield 3 or 4? I've been itching for a decent multiplayer shooter and had BF3 on PS3. Had a ton of fun with it but then everyone started moving on to PS4, XBone or PC. Tactical shooter that presents a lot of opportunities for team play. Aside from that, maybe a nice MP RPG or puzzle game?

I love/hated MW2. Its a ton of fun but gets frustrating at times. Wouldn't mind getting back into it at all. GTAV is wearing me down.

Warhammer Vermintide games are on sale at Steam right now. I need to watch some gameplay.
Hmm, if you're fighting hordes all the time then it's probably not my type.

I don't know if it's a separate campaign or not. www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Call_of_Duty:_World_at_WarI played some of the single player back when it was released. The best I recall it was real linear on rails, which I guess a lot of the COD games are like that. Land into battlefield, go to objective fighting along the way, complete objective, fast travel to next battlefield with cutscene, rinse and repeat.

WAW indeed has campaign Co-Op as well as the original Nazi zombies. Played the hell out of that.

Dusty and I finally got Far Cry 3 co-op working. Onishiro, dazk, Dusty and I could use 1 or 2 more players with the Far Cry 3 co-op campaign. I don't think the game scales the enemies down with less players. We have our hands full, lol.

@dustyelf, dazk, Onishiro, If I ever get around to installing Origin, which I probably will eventually, maybe we can play some ME3 co-op?
