Other than The Division I have not played any Co-Op/MP except for one quest in AC Unity where you pretty much had to in order to complete it, I keep thinking about doing some MEA MP as I have it installed but am just to intimidated.   |

@dustyelf , dazk , Onishiro , If I ever get around to installing Origin, which I probably will eventually, maybe we can play some ME3 co-op? Sure, but fair warning I'm at 50% power on PC.  |

Everybody has to start somewhere. Remember that. You are definitely not alone. But doing it is how you learn, and trial and error is the best way to learn. If you're not interested though that's cool.  |

Judging by the reviews it looks like the Halo games that have been releasing on Steam have problems with co-op. One review I noticed quoted a response supposedly from the studio that said they haven't identified any problem and have no intention of fixing it. steamcommunity.com/id/Raven800/recommended/1064270/I typically take some reviews with a grain of salt or dismiss them altogether depending on several factors, but if I see a pattern then I give it more credence. With Reach there's also complaints about bad audio problems that ruin the experience. I'll be avoiding the Master Chief Collection unless I'm convinced they're fixed. |

Onishiro, dazk, The Epic Games store is giving away Remnant: From the Ashes August 13-20. It has co-op. The single player is probably fun too. I don't know, I'll find out. ;-)

I might check it out on a Steam sale but I'm not installing Epic on my pc. A bit too intrusive with its boot up programs and connections to Tencent.

Another friend mentioned Tencent recently and I didn't put two and two together. www.pcgamer.com/every-game-company-that-tencent-has-invested-in/It seems Epic isn't the only one, but they have a lot smaller stake in the rest than with Epic except for Grinding Gear Games. I think I remember reading about their client running something at Windows startup but they admitted it was a bad idea and quit a long time ago. I looked at autoruns and task scheduler and didn't see anything, but I don't have any gaming clients that I let start with Windows either. You can launch the game without the client directly from the game exe, but I'm not sure if it's dependent on Unreal's API in the background for co-op or not. Hmm, I've had Remnant on my wish list for a little while and I hate to get rid of it, but I'm considering it now. I wait on games all the time and I can wait on this one too. I kind of suck so I'd be embarrassed, it's mainly why I try to solo stuff, but hey, I have all my crafting levels and crafting traits maxed out so if anyone who plays ever wants some free crafted armor and weapons I can provide.  I also have jewelry levels and traits maxed but I can't provide that for free, it's outrageously expensive imo.....sorry |
