Customization looks pretty great, even though we didn't yet get to see how it works.

I have contact with one of the mods at CDPR, they even flew him and others out to Poland to visit the company. He can't give details but he says they are putting every egg they have into this basket. It's far more ambitious than TW3. There's also rumors of them licencing music and hiring 90s music talent to do custom songs for the game.

So it seems it's a real thing. They've been tentative to confirm the rumored AAA title for years, but that's from a few days ago. I don't know how they have the manpower to put out another TW3 sized title by 2021, but when this was first announced it was pre-Gwent, so it's suddenly become intriguing now.

I'm curious if it will be something completely new or another game set in the Witcherverse. They've confirmed it won't be a new IP. So Gwent, Witcher or CP. I'm leaning toward it being a Witcher project they've possibly been tinkering with for years since I think this was first announced in like 2013. |

Wow that looks fantastic. The only thing I don't like is the recreation of Hollywood actors as themselves in games. I hope it's not a trend that will stay. |

At least he's not some insufferably vocal "progressive". Also seems like an actually decent guy. The idea is also rather interesting. Apparently he plays the digital ghost of Johnny Silverhand who happens to live in (or maybe visit) your head. How, why, etc. are questions I'd be interested in finding the answers to in the game. |

Yeah there seems to be a lot of buzz with Reeves being in the game, lots of people like him.
That's what I've read also about his character. Haven't read the books and hoping Reeves isn't in it too much. Yeah the idea is interesting, and I look forward to seeing what their relationship is if any and what he wants from the main character.
I'm concerned mostly that games will start making the characters look like the hollywood actors and not their own vision of the character. And I'd rather see them put money into their own creative vision than have to pay some celebrity who wants their likeness in the game for coolness or whatever. There are a lot of amazing voice actors out there to choose from. |
