Bianca, after all this time to finally meet her and she's the leak. All works out in the end. Varric sweeps her off her feet and they take over the merchants guild. No? Alright they go there separate ways and all is well. Kind of wish there was more to this quest but it was a kick meeting Bianca. Bianca... Varric.. Not to worry about the location leak of the red lyrium. Look at that lake view!:

Arbor wilds is a beautiful area with all the large red plants, large wolf statues, arbor blessing plants hanging from bridges. The team has made it to elven ruins and with Morrigan's guidance is solving the fun elven puzzles. Doesn't do it justice but its a stunning area. Love the two archer statues: So many wolf statues, Dorian. Sera climbs each one, it'll take us hours to get to the ruins: Talking with the Beautiful Morrigan: The first elven puzzle:

For the first time in a while, I'm wandering through the Hinterlands on a low level character.
Is it just me, or are schematics now a lot more common as loot?

I haven’t noticed finding more since the golden nug but BioWare may have added more in patch at one time. I think I remember when the game was released there wasn’t a lot of schematics in the Hinterlands.

Mainly for staff mods (just as well, since I'm playing a mage this time) And this was after syncing up with the Golden Nug. Just to make sure, I went to the Black Emporium and checked to make sure all the schematics there were bought out, and they were. Also, based on my talk with Leliana, I seem to have messed up syncing with the Keep and I'm playing with the default world state. Ah well, I'll see where this goes...

Deep Roads in DAI is so pretty. Like the camera shaking slightly when climbing the stairs. Renn dying is too sad, he would have made a great companion. Sera doesn't seem to like to the deep roads, can't blame her, as the team had to climb those ladders. Ahh, these ladders, not gonna climb them: Pretty image of the veins;

I wonder how one messes up the world state, since that's initiated at the beginning of the game during character setup... weird.

Yeah, it's a beautiful area with lots of lore. Only had the inquisitor take the well once with an elf inquisitor and the rest of the PT's Morrigan takes the well. It's kind of sad to have to take the well with all the memories and knowledge it holds. Wonder what will happen to those memories when Morrigan dies, if she's not immortal herself. I always thought Abelas dies in the end because there is nothing left to guard, but not certain.

I always thought Abelas dies in the end because there is nothing left to guard, but not certain. It depends on the direction Bioware wants to take the story. Will the arc be that magic and original Thedas will fade away... or will much of it be restored or preserved? I *think* they're going to go the restore and preserve route, though Bioware will make it difficult/adventurous/heroic. If they go that route, then probably the information of the Well will be preserved somehow - where there's magic there's a way. On the restoration/preservation front - I think Flemeth isn't dead, that there's another "piece" of her somewhere and she'll pop up again. The Evanuris will probably come back and play some antagonistic role as well - they're obviously hard to kill since Solas couldn't do it... though Solas may end up giving humans/dwarves/Qunari some kind of edge to balance out the power disparity - wild speculation on my part but I don't think they're unreasonable directions to take the story. I think the Titans/Dwarves relationship may be revived, thus changing the dwarves into something more interesting. Dwarves tend to be boring for me, so I hope they'll do *something* to make them more interesting.

There has to be some sort of connection with the dwarves, magic and the Titans. Sandal was found in the deep roads and has some sort of magical ability, what if he and the titans somehow met and they brought out the magic in him. What if all the dwarves had that magic hidden within them. That magic plus those automatic repeaters could make for a formidable force against the Qun. Yeah I still want a war with the Qun and them on the losing side.
Would the Evanuris side with the humans against Solas.

Would the Evanuris side with the humans against Solas. I don't know if the Evanuris would side with the humans, since they view themselves as gods, they'd probably be too arrogant to do so. I could see it being more likely for Solas to do so, he has a more pragmatic outlook, based on what we know right now.

Solas and his elves vs Qun vs humans & everyone else vs Evanuris. Everyone with their own idea on how Thedas should be. As for the dwarves, Solas described them as being like a severed arm still twitching. I suspect that their being cut off from the Titans also cut them off from the Fade somehow. Thus no magic (and no dreams). How they are different from the Tranquil is another question, though.

Manual quote of Iakus because the Proboards glitch is eating his posts: They are also compared and different but also like the Templars, right?... if I remember correctly... may do another Inquisition playthrough soonish.

Huh, missed this one. think Cole says the Templars have the ability to make the world around them "more real" and thus harder to manipulate, less Fade-like.

Ser BARRIS! SER BARRIS! SER BARRIS! I LOVE U AND ILL ALWAYS SAVE YOU FROM DOOM! Ser Barris is why I will always side with the Templars. the mage quest is unbearable too it was so boring and bland lol. Even though my main canon was an Dalish mage, i figured he didnt want to show support towards those whom would abandon their tranquils to die in large numbers. Plus he lacked sympathy for them, being Dalish i suppose.
