Posting this here since the white knights on the BSN would meltdown (this is in response to reading some posts defending Fallout 76): {Spoiler}Fallout 76 is like Mass Effect Andromeda: the excuses used to defend it are so laughable it is nearly impossible to take anyone seriously who defends it.
"I like it so your opinion is invalid." "I'm having fun so the issues don't matter." "You're a part of the hate train and are an edgy troll." "You haven't played the game so whatever you have to say is false and meaningless."
It goes on and on. Worse is that if you deconstruct some posts defending the game these little snippets are what they are actually saying. It is quite sad. Where our standards are 'too high', in their words, their own standards are laughably low that a game in such a state as this causes them to devolve and make such idiotic statements. It is also concerning that our fellow consumers hold such a low standard, and actively contribute to the problem of rushed and inferior products. Its easy to tell who pre-orders without question and lacks any form of self/critical thinking skills. Sorry if the salt content is too high

Sorry if the salt content is too high Tbh anybody who wets their knickers over Bethesda "RPGs" (I say RPGs cause their shooters/Dishonored games aren't too bad) has no standards.

Sorry if the salt content is too high I'll never understand why some defend glaring issues in games and dismiss anyone who tries to point them out. I still enjoy many games that have clear problems but I'll at least admit they're flawed. Isn't it a good thing to point out problems anyway? Because then there might be a slight hope that the company will take the feedback and improve with the next game. Hell I love the witcher series and yet I still point out things that could've been better with it.
Glad I didn't spend my money on this though, because even I have my limit for fuck ups. I just hope they don't mess up the next elder scrolls title, as that's where my heart lies anyway.

We probably need to stop paying attention to this game. It's hopeless! Fundamentally flawed game, and bugs aren't even its worst aspect. Practically milking FO4 for MMO players and Bethesda-drones money.

Fallout 76 is already 33% off? I've seen the PC version go as low as £15 in the UK. I got it free in an Xbox One X bundle with RDR2 and GoW4. I dare to ask, since FO76 was a code, is it worth giving it a look?

I dare to ask, since FO76 was a code, is it worth giving it a look? Let's say that at best it's a 5/10 game. If bugs and glitches are fixed by now or anytime soon... sill no interesting story, no NPCs and the best they added to the franchise is reskinned Skyrim Dragons which I know not if really a good thing... So mostly it's about playing/killing with some people who have nothing better to play!

Even if it does, I doubt that's going to help Bethesda much. Regardless of the scheme that is used, people won't play it if it's a bad game.
