Of all the new wave of games revealed recently, this probably has my undivided attention (and shameless hype) the most.

Didn't a lot of those same devs work on the STALKER series?

Didn't a lot of those same devs work on the STALKER series? I'd have to look but it certainly appears so. The STALKER vibes are strong with the latest bits they've been showing. The spaces in which we'll be playing in will be bigger than those of 2033 and Last Light combined, so I'm curious to see how they'll fill such large worldspaces.

Man, I have Metro 2033 and metro last light on my steam account because I thought they looked so cool....Only I never got around to playing them. For some reason I collect a lot of games and forget to play them but this also looks great. 😂

I did start 2033 and was going to give it a try, but that particular HD I had my games installed on was going bad. I replaced it and haven't downloaded it again yet. I've got more games in my libraries that I haven't played than I have. That's what sale promotions will do for you.

Y'all should play them, they're great games.
2033 is my favorite. Last Light is good too but it leans away from surviving against the weird creatures and phenomena a bit in favor of a post-apocalyptic human struggle, but your mileage will vary.

A video showcasing the game's graphical abilities. Even if you don't have the technology used, the game will still look spectacular.

I cannot tell you how disappointing it is that they withdrew selling Exodus on Steam till next year.
I’m hoping the dark ones return for Exodus.
Metro Last Light is so much fun. Going to have get 2033 to tie me over till next year.

Going to have get 2033 to tie me over till next year. I'm really disappointed as well, so much that I don't think I'll be purchasing it now. I'm really sad I didn't know about this so I could've made the steam deadline. I have last light and 2033 on steam and I mostly like my games all in one place if I can help it.....Well other than my CDPR games which I'll always get on gog because they deserve it and my dragon age/mass effect games on origins because I have no other choice there.

Hmm I guess I'll get it in a year and better for me since I can probably get on sale then. I actually thought they weren't allowing the game on steam ever. I'm glad to realize I read your post @dustyelf and everything else wrong lmao.

Deep Silver might bring it to GOG when they bring it to Steam. I might buy it from there if I do get around to buying it.

Pretty review of Exodus. Couldn't copy over the video review so here's some copy from the article. It's a glowing review so taking that into consideration. "Metro Exodus is not a gigantic, seamless open-world game. It's a focused, segmented first-person shooter that gets increasingly linear as you progress....It is, however, fantastic. ...I love how responsive its world is, how organic it feels.... I can see the change I bring to the world and it feels like my actions matter. It also helps that the game is a joy just to be in."
edit: for another reveiw. This one seems to focus more on the choice not to engage in combat. Not sure if theat's a god thing or not. Avoiding combat is not why I play shooters. Not to keen on the sneaking part but if like the other 2 games its not mandatory then I'm fine. The article talks about the NPC seems alive as if its a new feature, but it is in both games. Crafting your own bullets in kind of cool.
