If MEA has a thread ME should also have one. ME2LE:Modding Using Expanded Shepard Armory (ME2LE) and EGM Armors for LE2 and LE3 to make ME2's wardrobe more interesting. ESA brings the Cerberus officer uniform and Ajax armor models from the ME3 into ME2 which is something I wanted to do the moment I saw them.
EGM brings in the armors and outfits from MEA into ME2; while playing MEA I wondered what Shepard would look like in Alex Ryder's N7 armor and this mod allows me to do that.
I've been re-texturing the Cerberus uniform and Ajax armor as I go.
Story I'm now running two Sheps through at the same time; one has a colonial/ruthless background and other is Earther/ruthless.

I haven't done much in it lately, but I do have a little bit of a review about some of the technical aspects. Not all the textures were redone or enhanced. I took screenshots of a couple areas that don't look like they were touched.
They didn't do a good job with the audio in ME1 LE. There's a screwed up reverb and spatialization effect that's immersion breaking, and it has no multi-channel surround or 3D audio by default, just two channel stereo. I fixed that though. The game uses OpenAL, so I'm using OpenAL Soft as the audio device and I tweaked volumes for several of the sound groups to my liking. Now I have 3D and multi-channel surround sound with tweaked volumes for the sound groups. For example, In the original and LE the guns are too loud and the voices are too low. The voice volumes are okay when you're in a cutscene or dialog scene, but not when you're out running around with your squad. So you turn up the game volume and then gun sounds are hurting your ears. Modifying the volumes in the sound groups helps correct this.
Even tweaking the volumes for various sounds and getting 3D audio doesn't put the game at the same level as 2 and 3 as far as the audio design goes. It's better than the default game, but the ambience is practically non-existent compared to ME2 and 3. In ME2 and 3 you walk around the ship or a planet and the environment and everything feels alive. ME1 on the other hand everything feels muted and dead.
While the studio did work on some things in the series to help improve the experience, the audio design in ME1 LE is not one of them.

In ME3, I forcibly recruited the Leviathan to fight against the Reapers. Then went to Rannoch where I'm frustrated by getting killed by the Reaper there multiple times. It is my most hated mission in the entire series. Next time I fire up the game if I die several more times I'm likely to walk away from it for a while. Grr...

I understand your frustrations with the Rannoch mission in Mass Effect 3. However, it is important to take your time while playing and not give up too easily. With patience, practice, and strategy, you can make it through! It's helpful to read guides, watch walkthroughs, and enlist the help of friends to help you get through difficult sections.
