So couldn't see anywhere else to post this but I am currently on my second PT of Odyssey and thought I'd post my progress on this site. SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS Currently I have reached L99 already and my 2nd PT has been loads of fun playing with an Assassin specific CRIT build that makes me a bit of a glass canon but eliminates most enemies in one hit, especially with the Rush Assassination Ability and Heroic Strike ability. If that doesn't work the time old tactic of running away is always a good one. So yesterdays progress, I have basically killed all the cultists and am almost finished the family quest line: So yesterday another short period of play but what a "bounty-full" one it was again!!!!! Man like "sands through the hour glass" the mercenaries came and the mercenaries died. Happened to return to the point near the temple that bounteously gave me somany Merc's yesterday and again the gods provided, I killed so many mercs there and in the fort where Lagos The Archon was that the game started resurrecting them to throw at me once more. This poor lass, I killed THREE times: Anyway enough of my bloody gloating. Did all the sub-quests basically for the Lagos/cultist quest and let him live which revealed the Spartan King that is a cult member but I already knew having killed the Mercenary that try's to extort money from you. Cleared Lagos's barracks, camp, farm (I hate destroying the silos) and whatever else got in the way at the time including some temples and a few camps. As stated above had fun in the main fort where Lagos was, so many mercenary's died, more than the fort had guards. The shrub of death, the mercenaries virtually lined up and walked past: A "lovely night for a moon dance death" Kass practising her tumble turns whilst fighting a bear: Mum not being happy with the way of the peaceful warrior:

dazk , beautiful pictures! She has a bow and arrow You're on level 99, it that New Game+? Thank you re the pic's. The bow is great if you want to investin "Hunter" points and skills, Devastating Shot is one of my favourites and once you get your magic inherited spear to Level 3 I think it unlocks higher level abilites and you get access to "Ghost Arrows" that can fire through walls etc. Way OP'd but huge fun!!!! Yeah I started NG+ at level 75 approx. it's been a much easier journey but be warned when you play levelling up your gear and the ship is really resource intensive, so lots of killing animals and picking up steal and wood!!!! It's a really beautiful game, Kassandra and her VA are great and they are easily my favourite female VA and character in a fantasy setting. I have to stop myself taking pic's because I already have 2997 screenshots for the game (786MB). Here's a few more: And the game has some great zip lines!!!!

Lol and a rope! Can't get over the scenery and all the detail. I just rescued Phoibos and Kassandra's tone went super low, not happy. "Tell me where they went". I see what you mean on the voice actresses range. Just getting use to the keys and combat. Thinking I can be in this area for a bit. Not sure on which quest is a main one or a side one. Which skill set would you suggest for first time playing? For fun - took a screenshot just after your first one. Kassandra is so pretty.

Hey there, out and about ATM so will be brief. ☹️
Depends on how you like to play, I like stealth best but early on it can be a bit of a challenge especially in the big forts and quarries.
Rush Assassination is the best skill because it can teleport you to targets from stealth. If you get seen Heroic Strike is a good get out of jail ability as it does lots of Fame and Ring of Chaos is great for knocking mobs down. If you go stealth use gear with assassin skills and adrenaline bonuses. When hiding you can whistle on PC it's X and guards will come look to make it easier to assassinate them and stay hidden. Running away and hiding is also a useful tactic. 🤪 If you want to focus on the now Hunter skills are obviously important and you can pick guards off from hiding. Devastating shot is good but it may alert other guards.
The key is to level your spear up as quickly as you can by killing cultists. Once at L3 your abilities are much better.
Will write more when I am back home.🙂

I find stealth the easier path because I hate melee and whilst I used the bow a lot in my first PT I didn't set my build up properly for it to be able to one shot people. Also the bodies alert the guards and then it becomes a melee fest if they find you. So if you want to go down the stealth path you can actually avoid a lot of the fighting but you need to be patient and think about the best way to take the various guards down. I love the challenge of getting through a fort completely undetected. If you set your build up right for stealth, high CRIT Chance and damage and invest in adding damage to assassin abilities you can wipe out the smaller camps with say 5 or 6 people with one use of Rush Assassination, just as long as you make sure you have thought about how you "chain" from one enemy to the next. I am at the point where RA kills most of the high level merc's in one hit and Heroic Strike takes at least half an enemies health away for most.

Thanks for the advice dazk! Finished the shroud retrieval quest and now Kass has an assassin contract. Love the combat and the eagle. Flying as an eagle and learning where the enemy is so much fun and the area is beautiful from up there. The quests and the combat remind me a lot of The Witcher3 style. Talos the bounty hunter sure was persistent, he followed Kass all the way to Odessyus's temple where he met his end by water- lol. Kass is off to upgrade her weapons and find a boat.

Yeah Talos is a pain in the ass when you first start but beware the mercenaries are real trouble when you are low level, its wise to avoid them where possible. Whenever you clear a big fort always try to make sure you disable/trap the signal fire as a priority. I f the guards set it off you will be swarmed with mercenaries, they may still come but if the beacon is lit they will more actively hunt you in forts etc.. Killing leaders in regions automatically attracts 3 aggressive mercenaries who will hunt you down. Conquest battles are good for loot and XP but are generally unnecessary unless attached to a quest or an assassination. You have probably discovered it but just in case, you hit "V" to summon Ikaros but if you hold "V" it send a pulse called Eagle Vision that does the same thing for a limited range. Tip two, roofs are great, guards don't tend to look up, tip 3 assassinating is easier than you probably think, unless you are right in front of a guard you can sneak up and assassinate them. Ha, getting the boat is a fun quest but can be difficult quest, you do however meet a great NPC who will be with you for the rest of the game. There will be a scene ata point in that overall quest where Kass will dispose of an artificial eye, if you are into trophy hunting go goat hunting in the North East of Kephallonia afterwards.

I'm on AC hiatus after spending over 100 hrs on Origins. That doesn't mean I didn't love it. I did, but the repetitive nature meant a break was overdue. I do lurve my Kass though. Look at them arms. Also...I loved hunting in Orgins with all the different animals. With the Greek setting it's just not there.

So the last couple of days Kass has been diligently working towards completing the family quest and eliminating all the cultists and has pretty much succeeded. To that end she had a final confrontation with Deimos and killed the final "Sage" and now just needs to find the "Ghost" and do the final family quest. Killing the final cultist involved several fights in The Arena which I hate but got through them without dying but did drop the difficulty to "Easy" for expedience sake. Next will do the quests to find Medusa and then fight that dreaded battle, its the hardest of all the fights and a style I am just not good at. Pics - sorry tried to spoiler block the pics but I am obviously doing something wrong!!!!! Not quite the final confrontation Jail time Friends to The Rescue Thank god that's the last of The Arena I HAVE to do. {No real spoilers}Pic's

I find Odyssey far less repetitive in general than Origins and re the hunting I find far more challenging than Origins as the environments are far more varied, which I think makes it more challenging as well. Kass is a magnificent creature, dare I say a goddess.

Love the running on the rope, leaping to the rampart and assassinating. I have to redo that quest but this time I'll keep an eye our for the trap signal. Not sure, the game asks me to recruit or carry. Carry where and recruit to the ship? Heh got that quest and disposed of the artificial eye . Not even going to try to get it back.

In all honesty Sparta Kick is great fun but its a pain sometimes trying to find the body to loot it and there are better abilities. Ring of Chaos is better as it blasts multiple enemies and not as far and does great damage as well as your spear levels up. Are you using Rush Assassinate? General plan with forts is find the point closest to the signal fire and check out the easiest way to get to it. Clear the wall so there aren't guards up there to spot you, you can sneak/crouch walk to most of them as long as you come from the side or behind them and assassinate them. Some will be on those little towers and Rush Assassinate is great because once you target them you can hit RA and teleport up and assassinate them. Otherwise you can just climb the ladder and it usually puts you behind them. Clearing the wall is so important that if another guard goes up there I usually go back up and kill them. In some of the forts if you can be patient enough you'll notice there are some guard spots where guards will constantly replace a guard if they are eliminated. So you can just wait and pick them off as they keep coming up. Also the tents and towers are great to sit on and assassinate guards as they walk beneath you. If your assassinations aren't outright killing guards that's when Heroic Strike is great. Hit assassinate and if it doesn't kill them then hit HS and it either kills them without creating a fuss or at least knocks them to the ground. You can use "Carry" to pick up guys you just killed and dump them in bushes or water etc so other guards don't see them and light the fire or start looking for you. "Recruit" is for recruiting them to The Adrestia. Meant to say before, early on its worth investing in flame or poison as it add extra damage to your attacks. I use Poison as flame can cause unexpected accidents, for example drawing a flaming arrow for your bow when in one of the dry brown looking bushes will set you on fire!!!! Another thing "EPIC" gear is better than most the Legendary stuff because it has an extra engraving. If you go with poison look for gear that ha extra poison damage. To retrieve the eye (damn that's a funny scene) you just have to go hunt goats (you need leather ALWAYS anyway) in the NE of Kephallonia and you'll eventually kill THE goat and get a trophy. What platform are you playing on?

Spoilers Alert So the last two days have been concentrating on killing cultists and completing the family quest. I have now killed all the Cultists after fighting in The Arena for an hour yesterday (god I hate that) except for the Ghost which I will do today after going to Lesbos and doing The Medusa quests. That is the last Mythical creature I have to kill for the Atlantis stuff. Then will go home and catch up with the family having completed all that chain after killing Kleon yesterday. Looking forward to starting Atlantis DLC after that, disappointed I can't finish Barnabas's quest to find his wife due to the glitch in the witches location and assume that means I can't find his daughter. Actually just remembered I have the "One Bad Day" tale to do, so will complete that before I start Atlantis as well. If anyone has any tips for completing Atlantis (what to prioritise and any other hints) first episode I'd be pleased to hear them. Pic's Everyone needs good friends: Kass found some time for some loving between killing Cultists etc. Last two cultists bite the dust: {https://i.imgur.com/AXqOMrX.png}

Meant to mention the easiest way to get the best recruits like some of the mercenaries is to use "paralysis arrows" when yo can access them to take them down. Barnabas will give you a quest to recruit an archer from a small island that will give you the recruitment tutorial. Think you can re-map the keys. Sorry knew you are playing on PC but are you playing it on STEAM or UPLAY or neither. If either PM me and I'll give you my ID's if you want and we can chat in game if you want to.

So yesterday my main aim was to take down Medusa which I think is the most difficult fight in the game, this PT I expected it to be easier but it was significantly harder than last time and I went within a whisker of dying but eventually took the biatch down!!!!! Then needed to collect some Polemarch seals form forts so spent time clearing forts doing that, some perfectly and some not so. I actually videoed one and it was good because I twice caught abilities not working when they should have and a few other glitches like a guard seeing me through a wall!!!!!!! Anyway that was pretty much it. Some Pics Off to see snake lady: Yeah not loving the vibe Any wonder she doesn't like mirrors The prize: {https://i.imgur.com/AXqOMrX.png}
