Edit: This is a breakout from a combined thread. Please post your Shepards and playthroughs here:
I like good ol' ME games where you were badass instead of pretty boi!

^ME2 back of the police station at the spaceport on Illium. Did anyone else notice this Turian has Nihlus's head? ^ME3 rachni caves. Anyone else here wonder how the Krogan got impaled way up there? ^Grunt definitely showed he was pure Krogan by the end of that mission.

Stephen Shepard: More screenshots: Shep and Kaidan . I love the extended ending for the Kaidan time. His expression is so sad when sending him off, I thought Shep you're gonna die and never see Kaiden again .

Got around to uploading a screenshot of my Shepard to a Tumblr account: This was when I first booted up ME3 when it became backwards compatible for the Xbone.

I've been playing ME3 a little lately. The plot never held up. The other species offering help to work on the Crucible makes sense, but there was no convincing reason shown to us for them to agree to pack up and leave their planet and come to defend Earth. Surely they didn't defeat the Reapers on their home planets and systems. Everyone is losing to the Reapers everywhere. The Citadel was brought to Earth, but that was after the alliance had been formed and the direction it was going.
With the Quarians and Geth it's believable, but why would the others agree to leave their home planet?

Because the Reapers the greatest danger, a threat every planet, and it's better to fight with them elsewhere, not in their own homeland... at least I suppose.

It doesn't sound like you were very convinced either.

It sounds better if I say: Shepard is the hero, and the Earth is his planet, and the players' – so the Earth is the most important planet, for everyone, of course, every race wants to protect it – or conquer/destroy it?

That sounds like something they were thinking. It's a loose end that doesn't get tied up as far as I can tell, and it's central to the game/story. There's plenty of things in the series that I can't make much sense of, and that was a big one. It's a cheesy sci-fi series that I didn't take seriously but still enjoyed playing it.

Earth wasn't my Shepard's planet. He was born on Mindoir I was just playing Surkesh and got reminded of another small loose end. Where did Cortez go after he landed the shuttle? Did you notice that? Cortez just disappears and Wrex pilots the shuttle.

@dustyelf, Onecrazymonkey1, Kaiser Arian, catilina,@quizolio, Iakus, OnishiroI started up ME1 and decided to make a run at a playthrough but it's just too boring. The story is great, but that has little replay value. Gameplay adds replay value, and ME1 just doesn't have the gameplay to keep me playing all the way through anymore.

Yeah I love ME1 for it's story but the uninteresting filler planets with the Mako and the combat is terrible in my book.

Bioware copied GOW cover based combat for ME2 and 3. If they had used that formula in ME1 it would have made a difference in replay value to me I think, even though the pacing is different in the 1st vs the other 2.

Yeah I love ME1 for it's story but the uninteresting filler planets with the Mako and the combat is terrible in my book. It's so bad it's good, though, heheheheheh. The one thing I kinda like about the filler planets is that there is a nice, uncivilized, desolate feel to them. The other ME games could have used that, I think, just improve on the graphics and the physics along with varying the alien/human-created environs.
