Unfortunately the actual sane Dem candidates will get very little exposure and only the extreme talking points will win with anyone still calling themselves a proud Democrat voter. Regardless, it'll be another Trump landslide because they only seem to double down and have not learned a thing from 2016. Trump is a puppet master to them at this point and has smartly gotten them to embrace all of their own worst flaws or negligence. I hope more people are convinced he's not Orange Hitler and start calling for more discussion and attention to actual policies than sound bites.

I have some family members who were long time democrats but needless to say after they watched the recent dem debates, they admitted they won't be voting dem anymore. From what they told me, the dems shifted more left than they could handle and what little policy they heard scared them.
What are your thoughts on the build up to the 2020 presidential election? The Democratic debates were more about sound bites than anything of substance.
Every time I see pundits talking to Dems about these debates, the Dem tries to distance themselves from the far-left folks running and tries to make a point that the candidates aren't indicative of the average Democrat. I think it's hilarious.
Most of the Dem candidates are phonies that'll say whatever they think can score them points on certain issues instead of being genuine and holding to what they really believe in. There is a lot of anger in that group. That's going to turn some people away. I think what will turn off voters more than anything though is how far left they are as well as their globalist views. Open borders plus welfare for everyone coming through will be a disaster, and most Americans can see that.
The field is too wide right now and most of those candidates shouldn't be running. It'll be more interesting when half back out and the rest can talk about their socialist plans for the country in more detail. AOC, obviously not qualified but should be in the running just so she can get it out in the open that the party is gone socialists and the rest would have to follow her lead. Unless the deal she made with Pelosi was to zip it.
Harris is the only one that seems to have a lot of backing and a better team behind her. Her sister was on Clinton's team, while that failed it means her sister has connections in they system that could be helpful. Biden doesn't have Obama's backing and he's a creep and a flake. Warren and Sanders also flakes and have had their chance, time to back out of the running. One note O'Rorke marketing as Bobby2 has failed, he needs to leave as well.
Expect the next Democrat debate to be more interesting. Well hoping anyway.
