This thread is all about dreams. What were your recent ones? Are there any recurring events or situations? Do you see certain settings? Have any one them come true or reflected reality? I'll start. One dream I've had that was quite vivid occurred perhaps 2 years ago. It contained places from my childhood such as a train station near an apartment I used to live in. The station itself was an amalgamation of two places actually. It was near a pond (something not quite common where I live) and part of the train went into an underground tunnel. When I boarded the train it was daytime. When I got off at the last stop however it was nightfall. The last station resembled a Victorian era mansion complete with intricate gold trim and pastel walls in a very elegant fashion. It went several stairs up and the outside was dark and gloomy with large skyscrapers full of cool yet luminous lights and the exterior setting was under a blue hue as if it were a rainy evening. I was amazed to find a picture that was almost exactly like what I dreamt of: [img src=" i.imgur.com/a5ch16x.jpg" src="https://imgur.com/a5ch16x" alt="" style="max-width:50%;"]

For example I was in my own version of an inception movie a while back (just a tad more boring). To start off I ended up falling asleep on my couch, in my dream I woke up and asked my SO to bring me a glass of water, he did, so I took a sip and fell back asleep in my dream. I then woke up a second time within my dream asking about the water and he tells me that he already set it on the table next to me. Then once again I fell asleep within my dream and woke up the third time (for real) looked on the table to see no water and asked him where it was. Needless to say he didn’t know what the fuck I was talking about, because apparently I never really asked for water to begin with. I honestly didn’t know wtf I was talking about either. That dream disoriented me so much. My mom dreams a lot though and every time she dreams about weddings or relatives who are dead, she says she thinks someone is going to die. I don’t really believe in that kind of stuff and I usually laugh it off, yeah right. Until a couple months later someone we know dies. Coincidence I guess but still unnerving.. I don’t really want to hear about her dreams anymore.

Vivid dreams are often the most frightening ones for me. I once dreamt of my maternal grandmother shortly after she died. She was sitting in my dorm's kitchen lounge by a window in her favorite chair smiling at me. Didn't say a word. I felt extremely sad when I woke up. Even now it hurts a little.

Actually, that reminds me of a dream I had not too long ago about my grandmother after she passed. I was just holding her hand as she was dying and that was it, I think I dreamt it because I wasn't actually there when she died. I was about 5 minutes too late, stuck in traffic trying to get to her. Made me feel really guilty.

Well I had a couple of dreams that I was going to describe here but forgot them about an hour after I woke up. I'll have to try to remember to write them down.

I woke up from a nap. My father wanted to order food from a local pizza/Italian. I went driving and instead of going down the road a few miles I went far away and up a mountain. I thought I was in the wrong place but then someone came outside and told me it was the right place.
When I woke up, my father talked about ordering food from there but then it turned out my sister-in-law had made something.
