I never actually played it, I suppose I should take a look.

One of those games I doubted GOG would ever get on their shelf. I no longer bet against them any more. Diablo II will probably come in a week or so.

I liked it, but Diablo 2 was the best in the series. Especially with the Lord of Destruction expansion.

I liked it, but Diablo 2 was the best in the series. Especially with the Lord of Destruction expansion. I honestly don't remember much of anything about either games except they had cool intro videos (trailers?) and aggravating (for me) loot drops. But I also vaguely remember them both being fun for the type of game they are. I'm pondering getting a copy of Diablo 1, it's only 10 bucks.

I got Diablo 1 and turns out 1996 was a while ago I see that it comes with a GOG launcher and GOG configure tool. pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/DiabloDoes it scale up the resolution, stretch it, or what? There's a mod that's pixel based according to the wiki which is better than nothing.

There's a mod that's pixel based according to the wiki which is better than nothing. You get both the "classic" version and a visually enhanced one. It's a bit stretched I think, I'd have to compare it to the classic one.
