Started Grim Dawn tonight. It's similar to Torchlight with out the zany character and the same type of loot popping and pickup. It's quite fun so far. Would like to see a save button instead of having to backtrack to a rift.
Played some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare (Xbox 2005) coop, almost finished it and had some mild fun (level 13 is the end amirite?!). Could have been much better and it had a lot of potentials with more enemies, level design and gameplay. 5.5/10 imo
In the middle of N+ with Gaige. Decided to play the DLC Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary. Super fun! Lilith, and Tiny Tina looking out for infected Mordecai:

I've had that game in my library for a while but have only played a little of it. The HD that I had my games installed on at the time was showing signs of going bad and I replaced it. I never got around to downloading it again. One thing I recall that I found a little irritating was how long it took to start the game. Even playing single player you still have to wait for it sync up with the servers before you can load a save, or whatever it's doing that causes the delay seemed to take too long imo.
Have you played co-op? I recall reading some reviews that claim that's when the game is at its best.

Yeah think the wait time is a common complaint. Played it so many times now I don't mind the wait. No, haven't played co-op just the single game.

HOMM 3 is real good and what I would consider to be the best that I've played in the series. HOMM 2 is pretty good as well. HOMM 1 is good, but HOMM 2 improves upon it in several ways. HOMM 4 was the last one developed by NWC. It was ok but not as good as the previous 3. I've heard that 5 is pretty good but haven't played it much yet, and I haven't touched the latest ones.
Steam sells HOMM 3 HD Edition. The drawback for it is that it doesn't include the expansions or a map generator. From what I hear they lost the source code for the expansions. The base game is good without the expansions though. It's still fun to play and has better graphics than the original along with native widescreen support. GOG sells the classic complete version. There's a fan patch to give it widescreen support and makes it more stable too.
Heores III is decent (more like older 2D version of Heroes V). But I began with Heroes IV and its campaign and maps are just great and gigantic. Its heroes are closer to the action-RPG Might & Magic games (9-10 ones of them). It's an innovative game that ol' fans don't like but its new addition are actually pretty cool. One of the prettiest 2D strategy games tbh (alongside AOE II and American Conquest) www.gog.com/game/heroes_of_might_and_magic_4_complete
Heroes II looks better than III imo but has gameplay bad rules issues that dumbs down the game. I is too archaic, VI is garbage, VII is meh/playable, only graphics are great.
