Much better than the last trailer but I'm still not a fan of the trash bag armor and I never will be. I'm warming up to the Yen pick though, I like that they actually gave her her signature violet eyes. GOT always bothered me not making Daenery's eyes violet but that was the least of that show's problems. Interested in seeing the series to see what they do with the story mostly. Not a fan of Henry Cavill and this trailer doesn't do much to convince me he'll make a good Geralt. Doug Cockle's Geralt. so wonderfully voiced will be hard for any actor to measure up to so I do hope the series will change my mind and Cavill's Geralt will grow on me.

He was never my pick for Geralt but I'll give the actors a chance and see how it goes. I also don't trust Hissrich to not sprinkle in some agenda but I hope I'm wrong. I want to like the show, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Though I never saw the tv series so I couldn't say if he did the character justice or not.

Disappointment for Jack Ryan:
Apparently the president of Venezuela who tanked their economy and is the season's Bad Guy was "voted in on a nationalistic wave" and his opponent is a teacher who is running "on a platform of social justice"
wut?

I'm not really surprised though...I'm waiting for them to reveal that the Witcher was female originally and that the Trial of the grasses changes sex in addition to metabolism.

Well the leftists always make the socialists good and right of centers the fascists and bad. They can't help themselves. They like to retweet Trump is a fascist then call themselves impartial. It's to be expected, disappointing? Hell yes. For once I'd like them to show a socialist country as who they are not the lie they throw out.
I watched the first episode. Aside from that, holy shit, it's still good. Good acting, script and directing. And Noomi Rapace is in it! Kraskinski is amazing as Jack Ryan, does the books proud.

Well, Jack didn't get into nearly as many gunfights in the books, and rarely took the field. This Jack Ryan seems more like a composite between him and John Clark.

I find them kinda hit and miss. At the moment I'm eagerly awaiting the next season of Lost in Space next month.

Oh I didn't read the books about John Clark only a few Jack Ryan books and I don't remember Clark in any of the books. I was thinking Krasinski portrays Ryan more like the book than Harrison or Baldwin. That scene at the end on the roof was so well done and Krasinski comes across as he did in the books, as super smart but approachable, not arrogant and cocky and believable. I checked the wiki and there are a lot of Clark books, can I ask what you thought of them?

I checked the wiki and there are a lot of Clark books, can I ask what you thought of them? Clark started out as a secondary character in the books but became more important as the series progressed. Books where he was prominent in would be Clear and Present Danger (played by Willem Dafoe in the movie), The Sum of All Fears (played by Live Schreiber in the movie) and Debt of Honor. The books I'd recommend is "Without Remorse" which is his origin story, and Rainbow Six, which the video games are based on. Basically where Jack is a man of thought, Clark was the man of action. He was the field agent who got into the gunfights and catches bad guys while Jack was the detective who solved the mystery.

Rumor: Doctor Who Special Sees Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor Lecturing David Tennant on ToxicityBy John F. Trent | October 31, 2019 {https://i.imgur.com/AXqOMrX.png}A new Doctor Who rumor details that Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor will lecture David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor in an upcoming crossover special.
The rumor comes from YouTuber Doomcock, who cites an anonymous source from inside the Doctor Who production.
Not only does the rumor detail Whittaker’s Doctor will lecture Tennant, but it details that showrunner Chris Chibnall and actress Jodie Whittaker will remain on Doctor Who contrary to previous rumors.
Doomcock states, “According to this source, contrary to rumors it seems that Chibnall and Whittaker are not leaving the show.”
He adds, “If that were the case, perhaps we wouldn’t be getting the worst news. Which is simply this. There is currently an upcoming crossover special in pre-production that features Jodie Whittaker going over the top on lecturing a cucked David Tennant on his past biases and forcing him to repent for his toxic masculinity.”
Doomcock continues, “I wish this was a joke email, my source added, but it’s not. My source claims, ‘It’s literally a Jodie lecture talking about how she is talking about her past incarnations, putting them down.'”
Doomcock’s source also reveals that Matt Smith, who played the Eleventh Doctor, refused to participate in the special. “According to my source, ‘Matt Smith refused to do the special because of the shit they would have done to his character.’ Furthermore, my source informed me that Peter Capaldi made excuses that he needed to dedicate more time to the Suicide Squad so he get around being in it.”
As for when the special was supposed to appear, Doomock explains, “My source claims this was supposed to be an upcoming Christmas special. However, it may have to be bumped back to a 2020 release because of repeated delays in production because the showrunner keeps making power plays for more money and creative control to push identity politics.”
Doomcock’s source also provided him some information on what to expect in the upcoming 2020 season.
He then laments, “And so with Jodie Whittaker, the BBC has taken what was a charming, wonderful, whimsical, magical show and turned it into a propaganda vehicle for SJW politics.”
A Doctor Who teaser or trailer with Jodie Whittaker is more than likely on the horizon as the official Twitter account revealed a new image saying, “Watch this space…” The image appears to depict Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor.
What do you make of this new Doctor Who rumor? What do you expect from the new season of Doctor Who?

Update on Wu Assassin; while I'm glad its getting a second season, my god was this show a very mixed bag. Acting was still awkward, relies on music too much, and the writing was really subpar. I found the action to be decent at best but the writers need an upgrade. Still, great to see a predominantly Asian cast get a show based in America. As long as it's starring Iko then I'm fine with tuning in.

The Man in high castle season 4 was awful and I'm sorry I ever wasted my time with this show. {https://i.imgur.com/AXqOMrX.png} It really floundered under all the new characters, Kido's son, Yukiko, The BCR, why should I care about any of them? They needed to introduce them in maybe season 3 so I could have spent more time getting to know them. The heart of the show (imo) Tagomi is killed off in the first episode and you don't even get to see his face once, while Juliana and the resistance felt like an afterthought. Smith's daughter magically no longer needed to get tested when she returned to the Reich and Helen now has a brother when she mentioned she was an only child in season 2. I also wanted to know what happened to Ed and Idk maybe bring Frank back from an alternate world, lost opportunities there. Oh and commies that dis the American flag are the heroes and lol at them being able to make all of the Japanese up and run.
Also, who were all those people coming out of the portal like nothing happened in the end. So stupid

Onecrazymonkey1 How do you like seasons 1-3? Been thinking about starting that one and The Expanse. I've had both on my watch list for a while yet haven't bothered to touch either one yet.

Onecrazymonkey1 How do you like seasons 1-3? Been thinking about starting that one and The Expanse. I've had both on my watch list for a while yet haven't bothered to touch either one yet. I thought the first 2 seasons were the best and while I didn't find season 3 as great as the first two, I still enjoyed it and thought it had some very memorable moments. Season 4 on the other hand was terrible, and I didn't expect it to be so directionless, sloppy and completely ridiculous. I'm starting to hate it more than GOT's ending. However with all that said, I always tell people to find out for themselves as you might even love the last season. With the Expanse so far I have nothing bad to say, it's wonderful especially if you like sci-fi and It reminds me a bit of Mass effect. I hope whenever they have a last season that it doesn't disappoint. A lot of the shows I've watched recently have been great up until their final season, either because I feel they want to be "artsy", subvert expectations or have been injected with agenda pushing that doesn't make sense.

Totally recommend The Expanse, like a lot of series you need to give it a chance for the first 3 episodes or so whilst it builds some back story. I like all the main characters and personally find the various story arch's great, especially the alien "Protomolecule" arch. I don't think I have been as excited for a series return as I have for season 4 of The Expanse which coincides with my favourite book in the series. As Onecrazymonkey1 said it has an ME feel to it and think a bit of Firefly thrown in and some BSG as well.

My theory of most good series being interesting for their first 3 seasons and then screw up or going mediocre in season 4-5 is proven right again! Well at least they didn't start like Watchmen series.
