^Medusa's pretty cool looking, not sure I want to fight her though. Dazk, did some reading on ACO and it said there are puzzles, have you done any, are they hard? Let's see Sparta with Kassandra's help defeated the Athenians in battle. The battle was fun, dancing around killing the leaders. Met the Wolf. Moved to Phokis where Kass was scouting a leader to kill, 2 mercenaries decided now was the time to kill Kass, battle fun! Kass died many times. have to go back to help Odessa - those mercs. Like how the story and levels moves you from place to place, keeping it in sort of hub areas till your character is ready to move on. *for some reason the game won't accept fraps and the photo button won't place a picture in the designated folder. So until can sort it out no screenshots.

So until can sort it out no screenshots. Yeah Medusa is a nasty one, I drop the game to easy for her. I can only think of two puzzles for the whole game, one is when you meet the Sphynx as part of the "Atlantis" quest line {About the Family quest} I think Nikalaos should have told you but not sure but he's not your real dad.(meeting your real dad) The other is a part of a quest for a guy called Phydias at a particular fort an its solution is on the net but you can bumble your way through it if you need to. Yeah I wish I had played the game second time around in the level order it has you follow when you first play it, got myself into a confused muddle this time. The best strategy for Merc's when you can is to ambush them, shoot as many arrows into them as you can before you try to engage them or where possible hit them with Rush Assassinate from hiding as your first strike. Also remember you can run away, ther merc's are often poor at searching!!!! Re FRAPS make sure you are in "Fullscreen" for some reason in Odyssey it won't take screenshots in any other option even thiough it says it is. Also you should check its in Fullscreen everytime you log in because for some reason the game changes the setting sometimes.

So yesterday wrapped the family quest line up and now have only the Atlantis questline to finish plus one Lost Tale of Greece and a few minor quests. Some pics Clearing a fort - "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Kassandra" Kass provides some free chiropractic treatment to the above Merc. Why don't I get a purple tunic thingy?? Scenery A tree in the middle of nowhere with a strange lighting effect:

If y'all don't mind I'm just going to make one quick post appreciating Alexios! because... How is the DLC? I wasn't sure if I was going to spend the money on it but from what I've seen the new episodes look interesting.

Haven't played The Atlantis stuff yet was waiting for the third instalment which is due out end of the month I think. The Legacy of The First Blade I really liked but a few people didn't like the forced issue of Alexios/Kassandra {spoiler for LoTFB} having a kid.

I don't have anything against the LOTFB DLC, I just think the Atlantis one really piqued my interest because I'm a sucker for the Greek gods etc. especially when it comes to Hades and his doggo. Just caught my eye more. Thanks for the reply!

Yeah I didn't mind LoTFB at all, I fully embraced (well Kass did ) the whole relationship/baby thing but some of the people on BSN completely lost their F#$king minds and they still haven't shut up about it!!!!!! Several of us have now just blocked them, it just does my head in how people can get so worked up over games. Yeah Greek and Roman Mythology grabbed me when I was about 11 years old starting with Theseus and The Minotaur and have enjoyed it ever since. And so Odyssey was an absolute pleasure of a playground for me. Except fighting damn Medusa!!!!! Managed to make myself read The Odyssey and also The Iliad a few years back, man that was a bit of a chore!!!!

So pretty much finished up my 2nd PT of AC Odyssey yesterday, managed to get the family back together other than the member I chose to kill off this time around. Killed all the Cultists, including "The Ghost" whom I let live last time. Returned all the Mythincal Creature artifacts (Pieces of Eden) back to real dad and completed that part as well, wont spoil it except to say I didn't take the peaceful route in getting the "Staff of Hermes Tresmegistus" off its current holder. Will be interesting how that whole part plays out in future AC games. Discovered a quest for Herodotos after completing the Atlantis part that I didn't do last time simply because I had stopped pressing "Ë" to talk to him ages ago because he normally just repeats himself. It was OK and gave Kass a good opportunity to say a nice goodbye to him and get to know his family. Still got one Lost Tale of Greece to do (The Really Bad Day one) and a quest to complete and one glitched one (Barnabas's quest to find his wife) which is a shame because its a good one and you get a good Lieutenant out of it. It's the only major glitch I have had in almost 500hrs and the only one of any real impact. This Pic contains spoilers {Lots of dead cultists and ending spiler} Dinner with the family Family Boat Trip Scenery

dazk, Nice pictures! Was the Ghost hard to kill? I was hoping Kass would get back with her family. I keep forgetting to recruit, just made Odessa a LT on the ship. Love the horse, whistling for him and running- wow- pure fun. Kass is exploring and fighting and winning battles for Sparta. I still can't take screen shots for some reason, hope to later on.

Not that hard and you have the option not to fight them depending on your choice of dialogue. Did you know if you hold X down Kass will automatically mount the horse as well as call it? Also if you hit "E" whilst holding Ikaros Kass will feed or pat him. Are you doing the conquest battles? I could never be bothered unless it was part of a quest, not a fan of that type of battle. Thanks re the pics, here's a better one: That's weird re the screenshots, you are making sure you are in "Fullscreen" under options and graphics settings in the game yeah?

Her eyes are yellow, is that a power skill?
Oh wow Kass can pet or feed the bird! Love the details in this game. Yes, I do the conquest battles, for some reason I want Sparta to win and they are fun. Thank you it worked! I had forgotten to change the screen to full screen.

There are two sets of armour that change Kassandra's eyes so they glow and this is one its called The Radiant Armour set, the other is the Celestial set: Celestial set glows in the dark:

Thought I'd take a couple of screenshots now that it's working. Fun game, the environment is so beautiful and that makes me want to explore. So Kass is taking her time and exploring everywhere in between battles and quests. The horse animations are the best I've seen. Meeting the healer. You want me to what? Took a break for a picture with Roach 2 and bird. Right after they galloped away and ran over a woman, yikes. Didn't even see her, she's got up and walked away.

The Lykaaon quest is an interesting one, if you try and romance him the answers you give are also counter-intuitive. I stuffed it up first PT. Nice pic's Dusty Elf. Haven't played the last three days RL has gotten in the way which is damn annoying as I just want to get on to the DLC and finish!!!!

Thanks Dazk! I was in a fight with a number of Athenians and jumped on a horse to get away quick. Looked at the horse, it was gray and it was not Roach2! Kass stole a horse. Went into a larger battle on the ocean, what I ride, Sparta won, sunk the enemy and looted the wreckage. She is now going to meet Herodotos in Pnyx. On the way she climbed a hill and saw this beautiful city:

They are a real pain in the butt, SPACE and "S" seems to get them off your back easiest. Athens is "quest" city, prepare to be overwhelmed but I recommend doing as much of them as possible before moving on, some lead to cultists and some have other leads to main quests. First rule of Athens is always sleep with Alkibiades and do his quests (and Sokrates quests), most are at the least humorous if not down right funny and surprisingly are often tied to main quests or cultists.

Kass flails around and strikes with the sword till they drop - I don't know why they drop off. . Will do space and s next time. There are so many quests. Just escorted a man off the island to safety and did some quests on that island, met a lonely little girl with out any friends, Kass helped her but couldn't tell her she needed to find real friends . Met the poisoner, that was one hard kill, died a few times then ended up jumping to a rampart and using the bow. The love potion quest was pretty funny, never trust a Hekate witch! I'll keep an eye out for Alkibiades and hope to have more screenshots soon.

I'll keep an eye out for Alkibiades and hope to have more screenshots soon. The poor little girl Kloe and her clay friends. If you go back to her and were nice to her she'll still be sad and alone, you need to do the tough love answer and tell her to make real friends and if you do when you go back she'll be playing with her real friends. You'll first meet Alkibiades at Perikles Symposium in Athens, after that his quests are some of the black and gold ones in Athens and other places. Those black and gold exclamation mark ones are the ones you need to prioritise wherever you are. If you have left Athens I recommend going back and doing all the black and gold quests and returning to do the others after completing one if it takes you somewhere else after completing any black and gold quests where you are if you want to. You really should do the quests for Perikles as soon as you can in particular if you have gone with Herodotos to meet him already. Getting onto roofs and high places is a great tactic but especially for using the bow.

I think I have that quest in the que- be sure to do that one next!
There is a house with a leader in Athens, I tried to kill him but failed and ran. Well died a number of times than ran. It's super fun to use the bow. There was a small village filled with bandits. Kass ran through the village, jumped on the cliff walls and used the bow to pick them off one at a time - so much fun!
